Tax that knows the rules where you work
Set your country once, store each client's tax number, and Inceipt applies the correct structure automatically: CGST + SGST or IGST for India, 5% VAT for the UAE, and zero-rated exports for a client abroad. No formulas, no lookups, no split to mistype.
Built for India GST & UAE VAT
The right structure, decided for you
In India, a client in your state gives CGST + SGST and one in another gives IGST — taken from their GSTIN. In the UAE it is 5% VAT with the Tax Invoice / Simplified Tax Invoice rules. Never typed by hand.
Clients in any country
You register in India or the UAE; your clients do not have to be. Store a GSTIN for the client in Bengaluru, a TRN for the one in Dubai, and a plain address for the one in Berlin — each handled on its own terms.
Exports zero-rate themselves
Bill a client outside your country and the invoice becomes a zero-rated export automatically. No checkbox to forget, and no GST or VAT charged by mistake.
Withholding & TDS
See what actually lands. If your client deducts tax at source, the invoice still reads $20,000 and tells you $18,000 is coming.
Compliance notes, written for you
Reverse-charge wording appears on the invoice, in the language your client’s tax authority expects.
Codes & filing reports
HSN / SAC per line for India and GST / VAT-ready summaries, so filing is a read rather than a rebuild.
Made for creators
Creator mode bills brands from a rate card of reels, stories and UGC, groups a deal under a campaign, and raises barter invoices that charge GST on the product’s value with the Section 194R note added.
Made for travel agencies
Travel mode recovers the actual airfare or hotel as a pure-agent pass-through — billed at cost with no GST, separate from your service fee — takes a booking deposit and shows the balance due, and prints the trip’s route, dates and PNR on the invoice.

Saved products & clients
Reuse line items and client tax details in a click, with per-client totals for received and outstanding.
Invoicing built for brand deals
Turn on Creator mode and Inceipt speaks your language — brands and campaigns instead of clients and projects, a rate card of reels and UGC, and GST, SAC codes and the Section 194R note handled for you. Bill influencer work like a business, without becoming an accountant.
Your rate card, ready to invoice
A rate card, not a blank page
Save reels, story sets, static posts, YouTube integrations, UGC videos and usage rights as reusable rates, then drop them onto an invoice in seconds — priced, coded and taxed the same way every time.
Group a deal under a campaign
Tag every deliverable in a brand deal to one campaign — “Nykaa · Diwali Launch” — so a multi-video collaboration reads as one story and you can see what each campaign actually earned.
Barter & gifted products
Paid in a gifted product instead of cash? Inceipt raises a barter tax invoice, charges GST on the open-market value of your service, and adds the Section 194R note — the part most creators miss.
The right tax, decided for you
Brand work bills under SAC 998361 at 18% GST, with CGST + SGST or IGST chosen from the brand’s state — never typed by hand — and usage-rights fees handled on the same invoice.
Built for brands & agencies
Bill brands and agencies against their GSTIN, and when they deduct TDS the invoice still shows what you billed and what will actually land in your account.
Prove your income in one tap
Need to show what you earn — for a visa, a loan, a credit card or a brand check? Inceipt turns your paid invoices into a signed Income Certificate for any financial year or period, with gross receipts, GST and TDS broken down by brand.
Invoice by asking your AI
Tell ChatGPT or Claude “invoice Nykaa for three reels” and Inceipt drafts it in your account — rate card, campaign and tax all filled in — ready for you to check and send.

Inceipt is a minimalist invoicing app for freelancers, creators and small businesses. Create professional, tax-ready invoices in under a minute, send them from your own email, track payments and receipts, and get paid faster, all without spreadsheets or accounting jargon.
Because it's fast and gets the tax right for you. A guided 60-second setup, a live-preview invoice builder, and built-in tax engines — India GST (CGST/SGST or IGST) and UAE VAT (5%) — mean you spend seconds billing instead of hours. It stays out of your way: no clutter, no learning curve, no per-invoice fees.
Yes. The GST Council moved to a two-slab structure — 5% and 18% — from 22 September 2025, withdrawing 12% and 28%, with 40% kept for demerit goods. Inceipt offers the current slabs and flags a withdrawn rate if you type one, so an out-of-date figure saved against an old item does not quietly go out on an invoice.
Yes, and it should be able to — Rule 46 of the CGST Rules puts the rate of tax in the invoice item table, so consultancy at 18% and printed material at 5% can sit on the same document. Each line carries its own rate, and the summary groups by rate the way GSTR-1 is filed: CGST 9% + SGST 9% on the 18% lines, CGST 2.5% + SGST 2.5% on the 5% ones.
Yes. If the supply is exempt, Section 31(3)(c) and Rule 49 require a Bill of Supply rather than a tax invoice, and it must not carry tax columns at all — Inceipt titles the document correctly and drops those columns for you. An export is different: it stays a tax invoice at 0% with input credit intact, and carries the LUT or bond declaration.
Section 170 of the CGST Act rounds the tax payable to the nearest rupee, so $4,162.14 of GST is stated as $4,162. Inceipt rounds the total rather than each rate band, because two bands that each round down can still round up together. The decision is recorded on each invoice when it is issued, so changing the setting never restates a document you have already sent.
Yes. Inceipt has a built-in MCP server (Model Context Protocol), so you can add it to ChatGPT or Claude as a custom connector and raise invoices by asking. Your assistant can look up clients, tell you what is overdue, create invoices with the GST worked out, record payments and issue receipts. There is no API key to generate; new invoices are saved as drafts, and sending one to a client is always done by you from the app.
Freelancers, consultants, agencies, creators and small businesses who bill clients and want compliant invoices without the overhead of full accounting software. Whether you send five invoices a month or five hundred, Inceipt scales with you.
Yes — there is a Creator mode built for exactly this. Bill brands and agencies for reels, stories, UGC and usage rights from a reusable rate card, group a deal under a campaign, and Inceipt raises a GST tax invoice with the right SAC code (998361) at 18%. It also handles barter deals: when a brand pays in a gifted product, Inceipt charges GST on the open-market value of your service and adds the Section 194R note. Turn it on from onboarding or Settings.
Yes — pick Business at onboarding and choose the Travel Agency focus (or switch it on later in Settings). The invoice separates the money the way a travel bill should: the actual airfare, hotel or visa fee you paid on the traveller’s behalf goes on as a pure-agent pass-through — billed at cost with no GST — while your own booking or service fee is taxed at 18% under the right SAC code (998551–998559). You can record a booking deposit so the invoice shows the balance still due, and print the trip’s route, dates, PNR and travellers as their own block. It is a fast invoicing tool, not a travel ERP: it does not do TCS on tour packages, the tour-operator margin scheme, or airline-commission reconciliation.
Yes. Inceipt turns the invoices you have marked paid into a one-tap Income Certificate — a signed PDF for any financial year or custom period, showing your gross receipts, GST collected and TDS deducted, broken down by client. It is built for visa, loan, credit-card and brand-verification checks. It is a summary of your own records, not a tax return or a chartered accountant’s certificate.
About a minute. Sign up free, answer a short setup stepper (your business, region, tax and numbering), and you land in a ready-to-use dashboard. No credit card, no installation.
Inceipt is built for businesses registered in India or the UAE. India gets full GST — the CGST/SGST versus IGST split, HSN/SAC codes, GSTIN validation and TDS withholding; the UAE gets 5% VAT with the Tax Invoice / Simplified Tax Invoice rules and TRN validation. Your clients can be anywhere — an invoice to a client abroad is treated as a zero-rated export. Pick your country once during setup and the correct structure is applied automatically.
Yes. You register in India or the UAE; your clients can be anywhere. Store each client's country and tax number (a GSTIN for India, a TRN for the UAE) and Inceipt treats the invoice correctly on its own terms — GST or VAT for a domestic client, and a zero-rated export for one abroad, with no checkbox to forget.
Add the withholding rate and the invoice still shows the full amount you billed, plus what will actually land after their deduction, so you can reconcile the payment when it arrives short. It's recorded on the invoice, not guessed at later.
Yes. You can skip tax setup during onboarding and keep billing with no tax at all. Whenever you're ready, add your country and tax details in Settings. Simple, tax-free invoices work from day one.
To protect invoices you've already issued. Changing the country or currency later would retroactively alter the tax and totals on past invoices, so they're fixed once during the guided setup. Everything else branding, email, numbering — stays editable.
Yes. Connect your own SMTP settings and invoices and reminders go out from your domain. If you don't configure it, our fast fallback delivery service sends them for you.
You get a 7-day free trial with up to 5 invoices and 2 clients and full PDF export, with no credit card required to start. After 7 days your account goes read-only: everything you made stays visible and exportable, but you need Pro to keep creating and editing. Nothing is ever deleted.
Pro is $6.99 a month for unlimited invoices and clients, custom branding, payment reminders and priority support. Yes, it renews automatically: your card is charged once a month until you cancel, so your invoicing never stops working mid-job. There's no annual lock-in and no cancellation fee.
One click on the Upgrade page: no email, no support ticket, no retention maze. Cancelling stops all future charges and you keep Pro until the month you've already paid for runs out, then the account goes read-only with your data intact.
Absolutely. Mark an invoice paid with the method used cash, bank transfer, UPI, card or cheque — and a matching receipt is generated automatically for your client.
Yes. Set your own prefix, suffix, starting number and padding once, and numbers auto-increment in a clean, gapless series. Add your logo and brand colour so every invoice looks unmistakably yours.
Your data lives in an encrypted, access-controlled database with per-user isolation and automatic backups. Only you can see your invoices, clients and settings.
